The We Rise Coalition is a collective of five feminist organisations from across the Pacific, each grounded in its own unique national context and lived experience. For many years, we have come together as part of the Pacific Feminist Movement, building solidarity, trust, and shared purpose across our islands and communities. Through this long-standing collaboration, we work to develop, demonstrate, and strengthen feminist coalition organizations and partnerships that advance inclusive governance, equality, diversity, justice, and women’s human rights.

At the heart of the We Rise Coalition is a deep commitment to building and sustaining women’s collective power through movements. This movement-building work supports women in transforming their pursuit of human rights, equality, and justice into a powerful political force for change—one that cannot be ignored by families, communities, governments, or society at large. While individual acts of resistance can often be isolated or suppressed, the Coalition recognises that collective, strategic action grounded in a shared agenda for change is far more resilient and difficult to silence.

Together, we continue to strengthen our collective voice, deepen our impact, and advance a shared commitment to building more just, equitable, and empowered futures for women across the Pacific.
