Our Programs

The We Rise Coalition is a collective of five feminist organisations from across the Pacific, each grounded in its own unique national context and lived experience.

Clock That Tea with Nu featured the internationally renowned DJ Lady Shaka — a superstar creator and cultural icon. After seven years, her return brought immense joy and inspiration to everyone present. Her visit to our Ballroom community was truly memorable.

BGW is currently facilitating bi-weekly workshops as part of our ongoing commitment to educate and empower the SOGIESC community in Samoa. These sessions are designed to raise awareness and build understanding of the laws that impact the community.

As we mark the anniversary of the introduction of Ballroom to Samoa, we come together with pride and deep gratitude to celebrate this important milestone. This occasion not only honours how far we have come, but also reaffirms our shared commitment to sustaining and supporting the growth of this vibrant community.
