Announcement: Support our Scholarship Program
BGW Club of USP visited Pesega College and carried out an outreach program for the senior class of 2019.
This initiative is to allow engagement amongst our young students and enabling them to be open to free expression, team building and safety along with leadership skills that may help them with barriers and different obstacles to come in the future.
We understand there are many trials and challenges faced by these young student on a regular basis, may it be within their own household or in school compound amongst friends or in the classroom mentally battling with intellect, or even just persona matters gone unnoticed.
“we hope to continue lending our hand to schools and young teens to help overcome differences and stigmas in our community so they may have a safe space to grow to the best of their potential”
This stage of a young persons’ life is where there is high risk of stress and mental, emotional instability. Students lack awareness and feeling of comfort in a place they should feel free to open discovery and exploration of themselves as young adults as well as their interaction with the outside world.
Through a range of productive capacity building exercises and workshops this outreach was indeed a great success and we hope to continue lending our hand to schools and young teens to help overcome differences and stigmas in our community so they may have a safe space to grow to the best of their potential.
