Sheraton Hotel, Apia
Announcement: Support our Scholarship Program
In support of Climate change Awareness we hosted our Earth Hour program at Aggie Greys Sheraton with our BGW University Clubs and Former Miss Samoa Sonia Piva.
Earth Hour is carried out by many countries all over the world where nationwide all over and electricity is shut down for 1 whole hour to help promote environmental and energy resource conservation.
“Climate Change is real, it is happening and our island home is affected greatly by threats of natural disasters and human activity. Now is the time we must make a change.”
BGW USP and BG NUS alongside Miss Samoa Sonia Piva through performing arts of traditional Maori dance and relative songs, sent a message to the audience about the importance of coming together as a community to help protect our environment. After the showcase the hotel shut off all it electrical power for one hour to support our cause for Climate Change awareness.
Climate Change is real, it is happening and our island home is effected greatly by threats of natural disasters and human activity. Now is the time we must make a change.
