Purpose
The purpose of the Brown Girl Woke is to represent the interest of brown student populace at all times emphasizing political, community, social, and educational concerns while promoting the general welfare of the Brown student populace; by fostering communications between the Brown Girl Woke club and the university, and to provide a central agency through which students may voice their opinion and gain support on any and all matters.
BGW serves as the umbrella organization for all minority organizations on campus and we impact USP and NUS through various community service events, fundraising activities, educational forums, and social events.
