Broken and Blessed Club

The Broken & Blessed Club was created to hold a dedicated space just for men and young men to come together, talk, and be real about their mental health.

Real conversations. Real brotherhood. No judgement.

To maximize our reach and provide the best possible support network for our youth, this initiative is driven by strong community collaborations.

We are incredibly proud to partner with Tiapapata Youth and the Samoa Returnees Trust. By bringing these organizations together, we ensure that our young men have access to a wider network of guidance, mentorship, and lived experience, proving that no one has to walk their path alone.

If your village or youth group would like to join an upcoming meeting, or be part of a future session, send us a message today. We are always looking to expand our brotherhood.

The Challenge :

For many men and young men in Samoa, societal expectations can make it difficult to speak openly about personal struggles. There is often a silent pressure to suppress emotions and "tough it out," which tragically contributes to the high rates of suicide among men in our community. Without a safe, stigma-free environment to process their feelings, young men can easily become isolated, making it much harder to break negative cycles, find healthy coping mechanisms, or prevent violence.

Our Solutions:

The Broken & Blessed Club was created to directly combat this crisis. We hold a dedicated space just for men and young men to come together, talk, and be real about their mental health before they reach a breaking point.

We provide an environment with absolutely no pressure and no judgement. Instead of formal, rigid counseling, we focus on real conversations and building a strong sense of brotherhood. By gathering every week, we break down the deadly stigma surrounding men's mental health and facilitate honest discussions around wellbeing, personal growth, and violence prevention.

What We Focus On

Our weekly sessions are designed to be flexible, welcoming, and directly relevant to the lives of our youth. We focus on:

Mental Health & Wellbeing

Providing a safe sounding board for everyday struggles.

Violence Prevention

Equipping young men with the tools to handle conflict peacefully and break negative cycles.

Building Brotherhood

Forging lifelong friendships and a support network they can rely on outside of the sessions.

What You Gain

While we don't have rigid lesson plans, the conversations in our circle naturally equip you with real-world tools to navigate life.

Healthy Coping Mechanisms

We discuss practical ways to navigate daily stress, societal pressures, and anger. Together, we explore how to replace destructive habits or silent isolation with healthy, constructive outlets that protect your peace of mind.

Finding Your Voice

We emphasize the importance of speaking up. You will learn how to confidently articulate what you are going through and, just as importantly, how to actively listen and effectively check in on your brothers when they are struggling.

Leading by Example

We empower young men to take the lessons learned in the circle back to their homes and villages. You will leave equipped to be a positive role model who champions respect, peace, and emotional wellbeing within your own community.
