Announcement: BGW Alofa Initiative Launch
BGW’s office continues to thrive as an open and vibrant community space for youth, artists, and local programmes — a living example of what collective care and shared resources can look like in action.
Alongside our youth initiatives, we host a monthly Men’s Mental Health space led by Ednie Foaga. This gathering creates a safe and supportive environment for men to connect, share openly, and gain practical tools they can carry back into their families, youth groups, and wider communities. We were also honoured to recently welcome special guest Frank Winterstein, whose presence brought added depth and encouragement to the space.
This month, we are grateful to SOLFA, who are currently using our space to host music classes as they transition into a larger venue. Their generous contribution to our space reflects a meaningful partnership, and we deeply appreciate their support.
Our office is also filled with creativity through She Builds Fine Arts and She Builds Loto Taumafai. Young women are actively painting and completing tote bag orders ahead of the new school term — work that provides hands-on experience, income opportunities, and builds both confidence and skills.
This is what community space looks like to us:
shared, creative, supportive, and grounded in opportunity.
